Event is a unique new showcase to promote and celebrate the army of talented women filmmakers who rarely get recognition. In the film industry as in other areas of commerce, all too often the same women are recognized. Unlike most enterprises that look to build on the success of events by nominating the same small circle of female professionals, The Women’s International Film & Television Showcase is building a FUTURE for our nominees each year.
TheWIFTS Foundation other objective brings together Commerce and Creativity with the inauguration of Named Awards.
In 2008 The first Named Award for film is Adrienne Fancey Best Film Award
Successful women such as Elizabeth Grant Skincare in Canada with The Elizabeth Grant Entrepreneur Award, supports women through the Art form of Film, the 21st century visual communicator.

the power of sport to bring peace to conflict-ridden areas of East Africa, to
support children who are victims of conflict, and to enable economic

pairing master American filmmakers with youth (ages 8-21) from around the world
to mentor the child in creating a short documentary about his or her life.

Center strives to become a model for transition and adult day programs for individuals
with significant disabilities, by supporting them in a caring and creative environment
